Well this week I turned my focus on broccoli for the little man! I thought about some carrot cake with broccoli but...eh that's predictable! So, I thought about a biscuit and then BAM! Red Lobster cheddar bay biscuit with broccoli purée - easy and everyone loves butter and cheese and warm bread!
Here's My Recipe:
- Heat oven to 375.
- Mix 2 cups of Low Fat Bisquick/ generic baking/pancake mix with
2/3 cups of low fat milk and 1/2 cup of low fat shredded cheddar. Stir in 1/2 -3/4 cup broccoli puree. Add more or less cheese to get it to a batter consistency.
- Drop generous spoonful of batter onto parchment lined baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.

Red Lobsters sneaky yet oh so tasty trick is to baste the biscuits right after you take then out of the oven with melted butter and garlic powder.
SADLY, the little guy threw them against the fridge...but my hubby loves them, he's getting broccoli and it's 130 calories!
You win some and loose some!
Next up...Cauliflower Banana Bread!
